‘Midnight Lace’ or ‘Flow Obsidian’ is relatively new to me. I first came across it a few years ago, and think it has a really lovely energy frequency.

It comes from Armenia, and, at first, it looks black. When you hold it to the light, however, you can see beautiful patterns of black (midnight) and clear (lace).

It has the depth of Black Obsidian, but is much lighter, more fluid, and is gentler to work with. (I actually love Black Obsidian, but I know many people find it a bit scary!)

Midnight Lace Obsidian is gently protective, and helps us to find a quiet space within in times of stress or overwhelm. Use for meditation, or just to help find a still moment when all around seems to have gone crazy. From there we can come back to centre; to our true selves and then begin to express that creatively, in a grounded way, out into the world.
